Manufactured from premium 1.2379 (D2) steel and processed with CNC machines, our Wipa knives are hardened in state-of-the-art furnaces and are triple hardened for the best microstructure. These knives are exceptionally wear-resistant, tough and strong, designed to provide optimum longevity. For extra durability when machining reinforced materials, we also offer knives with a carbide insert, which last up to 10 times longer than normal D2 steel.
